Dietary Committee!
History
The Dietary Committee (formerly The Kitchen Committee) has been around for many years. However, in 1994 it began under new leadership. The only office filled in the committee is the President/Chairperson, Sister Bertha Ambler under the leadership of Deacon Herman Turner. There are currently approximately 36 committee members under this leadership.
Purpose:
The purpose of the Dietary Committee is to provide four (4) nutritious fellowship dinners per year and to provide repast for families during bereavement. The four fellowship dinners consist of Church Anniversary in May, Homecoming in August, Pastor's Appreciation in October and finally the Christmas Dinner in December of each year.
Vizsion:
Providing and Promoting healthy eating and wellness for the church and community.
Mission:
Assisting and providing repast service and care to bereaved families and providing dinner for special events of the church.
Goal:
Increase ministry membership to better serve pastor and congregation.
