Church ushers introduce worshippers to the church,
and
are soul winners for Christ.
Church ushers are missionaries whose mission is to
propagate to the church spirit throughout the
congregation.
Church ushers help the pastor make the service a success
by putting the congregation in the right frame of
mind to receive the message. Therefore, the usher
should greet
the worshippers with a pleasant smile,
a warm welcome
and direct them to comfortable seats.
Church ushers are forerunners who prepare the church
for its guest.
Church ushers are doorkeepers in the house of the
Lord
who guard the doors during service.
